TASTING NOTES of Caorunn Gin :

  • View: Caorunn Gin is transparent.
  • Nose: The classic botanicals used is six (juniper, orange peel and lemon, coriander, cassia and angelica root) and five of Celtic origin (rowan berry, heather, myrtle, dandelion and coul). Its aroma is also fresh, floral and citrus.
  • Mouth: The final product is clean, full-bodied, fresh and dry taste, sweet and fruity.

Scottish gin, produced in the heart of the region Speyside whiskey region.
As recipe, ancient distillation techniques, the best grain alcohol, pure water from the highlands of Scotland and Celtic botanical origin that grow in the hills near the distillery, as Rowan Berry, spicy red berry that is Caorunn heart.

A very fragrant, citrus and floral, elegant and refreshing gin, sweet taste.
To my tonic: the glass ball serve with ice to stop (to fill the glass), with the help of the shaker spoon stir the ice crystals to cool the glass and remove the water that has been released.
This time I selected a slice of grapefruit to add in the glass, a few juniper berries and Granada.
Gin time to take (story 1001, 1002 and 1003). Now move a little combination of fruit with gin for the Granada brings something of its aroma and flavor, and finally, helped by a spiral spoon, add the tonic, this time choose the Qtonic with a light carbon that do not influence the texture of gin. Yummy!
