It now has one of the most advanced facilities in England, focused on sustainable production. In fact, up to 60% of the water used in the production line is recycled. The grains used in the making of Adnams Sloe Gin are locally grown East Anglian malted cereals. A unique two-strain yeast, property of the distillery and in use for the past 70 years, is responsible to convert the grains into an alcoholic grist by fermenting all the available sugars.
