VINEYARD: Louis Jadot. The history of the Louis Jadot Maison began in 1826, with the acquisition of a plot of land in Burgundy. After 200 years of tradition in the fine art of winemaking, this house has managed to gather hundreds of plots in the same region, gaining deserved fame for the quality and unique flavour characteristic of this region.
GRAPES: Pinot Noir.
AGEING: Eight to ten months for each wine in barrels or in stainless steel tanks, before blending and bottling.
PREPARATION: This Burgundy is prepared exclusively from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Maison Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin 2014 is a blend of wines from all over the region of Côte d'Or. Each one of the wines that conforms this blend followed a traditional winemaking process, completing with storage in stainless steel tanks or the cooperages of the winery. Finally, the wines are blended together after ageing and bottled for distribution. This is a smooth wine, with a light body, and a sexy rosy contact, ideal for relaxing evenings with the best company.
PAIRING: This wine is perfect for grilled tuna, terrines, veal, pasta, and hard cheeses.
