A great classic obtained from the Cortese grapes, Villa Sparina Gavi di Gavi 2017 is a lively, fresh and fruity white wine which expresses truth and territory with its unique strength and freshness.

Villa Sparina farm comprises 100 hectares of land, 70 of which are vineyards surrounded by woods, touched by a Ligurian breeze and kissed by the sun. Most of the vineyard found on the hillsides of Monterotondo is Cortese.

View: straw yellow.
Nose: aromas of flowers and peach.
Mouth: full and rich, soft and enveloping flavour, noble aromatic notes.

APPELLATION: Cortese di Gavi.

GRAPES: 100% Cortese.

PAIRING: Whitefish and meat dishes.

Den är halmgul med gröna punkter. Nyfikna citrusaromer. Man kände direkt smaken hos Villa Sparina Conte Alari Gavi di Gavi.

Brought by a friend and I opened it with him.
Attractive and intense colour. Very pleasant citrus scent. A wine with good body.
Very good with marinated sardines.

The wine has a straw-yellow color. The nose fell a fragrance of flowers and fruit with hints of peach. In mouth feel a full and rich taste, soft and harmonical with tones of noble aromas, resulted from the complete ripening of the grapes, which intensify the character.

It is my parents favorite wine.
The colour of this 2019 seems darker than other vintages. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. Mild but with a long aftertaste.
Good wine, even when taken alone.
