Michele Chiarlo del Comune di Gavi Rovereto Gavi 2017

The Gavi del Comune di Gavi Rovereto Michele Chiarlo born in the homonymous vineyard in Rovereto, located in the municipality of Alessandria Gavi. It is obtained only from Cortese grapes, harvested by hand. For a partial maceration of the grapes follows soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-18ºC. Then the wine is aged for 5 months on its lees in stainless steel and further in the bottle before release. Straw yellow with greenish hues, the nose reveals an intense and elegant aroma, with hints of white flowers, Golden apple and chives on a nice mineral background. In the mouth it shows well-structured and aromatic, with a long savory finish and round. You can pull good fish carpaccio. It also does not disdain pasta with seafood and second processed red meat.

We drank this wine with seafood rice. I drank it alone.
A golden brown white wine of Michele Chiarlo. On the nose, white fruits noticeable. It tasted like licorice.
