4 /5

The Gavi of Palas line Michele Chiarlo site comes from vineyards on land composed of white limestone lands, with limited presence of clay, in the heart of Gavi DOCG. It is produced exclusively from Cortese grapes, harvested exclusively by hand and pressed in a soft way. The wine is made in traditional white, aged in steel tanks for at least 3 months. It has a straw yellow color with green hues. The nose expresses floral and fruity aromas, with hints of exotic fruit and white peach. On the palate the wine is elegant and balanced, pleasantly round. Wine to be preferred in company of dishes based on fish, spicy foods and delicate appetizers, it lends itself well to be served as an aperitif.
