Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Tradizionali 2015 (Pinot Grigio)
- View: Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Tradizionali 2015 has a shining golden yellow colour.

- Mouth: Well-structured but quite delicate on the palate, with spicy flavours and a lingering finish.
VINEYARD: Lis Neris. Founded in 1879, this vineyard has been in the family for four generations. The conditions of the terrain, located in the North region of Italy, greatly favour the production of high-quality white wines, and this has become the focus of this vineyard. For Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Tradizionali 2015, the spring was ideal, and a hot summer and well distributed rains made for almost perfect conditions for the harvesting of the grapes. This year marked balanced wines with exquisite finesse.
GRAPES: 100% Pinot Grigio.
AGEING: Eight months on the lees in stainless steel vats prior to bottling.
PREPARATION: The harvesting of the grapes is conducted manually. After a careful selection of the fruit, the fermentation process is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20-22°C. The must is left in the tanks for maturation purposes on the fine lees with frequently scheduled bâtonnage to homogenize the flavour before being bottled for commercialization.
PAIRING: Perfect as an appetiser and for starter courses. Also pairs well with white fish and seafood.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 11°C
Reality among the most fascinating and dynamic not only of the Isonzo, Lis Neris has been able to establish itself over time thanks to a talent probably unique in being able to read not only its territory and its historical varieties, but also different styles and vines, centering each time the shot. The merit is all of Alvaro Pecorari, owner and soul of this important winery. We are in Gorizia, one of the most fascinating and controversial border cities in Europe. A place capable, thanks to a unique cultural melting pot, to express products of great character. If it is true that the roots of Lis Neris sink in the previous four generations, it is also true that the year of the turning point was 1981, when a new production mentality began to take shape, aimed at achieving a higher quality, true leitmotiv of every wine by Alvaro Pecorari.More about the Winery
Reviews of Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Tradizionali 2015
A Pinot Grigio with a very dense colour. In my opinion, the Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Tradizionali smelled like mango, banana and pear. I noticed the 2016 a little astringent.
A white for any occassion.
