You will like to know that...

Vintage tunina comes from the hand of Jermann, an Italian winemaker, this white wine is known for its straw yellow coloration and its great taste, it took two years of harvest to finally put it up for sale in the market for the first time in 1975. It is considered a great white wine, the Sauvignon grapes were cultivated and harvested with extreme care in order to obtain the best taste.

Unlike other wines that are usually referred as being drank while meditating, Vintage Tunina play a more active role, motivating us to meditate after drinking it.

Curiosity: The name "Tunina" comes from the previous owner of the vineyard.

Jermann Vintage Tunina 2014

It has bright straw color with golden highlights. The aroma is intense, full of great elegance and persistence, with hints of honey and wildflowers. It has a dry, soft, very balanced, with great persistence, due to the particularly full body.
It goes well with pasta with truffles, with a wide variety of seafood dishes, especially baked and sauced, but it gets to be able to marry white meat.

Vintage Tunina Jermann is one of the most famous white wines of the Italian wine scene. It is made with Chardonnay, Sauvignon and other local grapes varieties such as Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit. Tunina was the name of the owner of the land where the vineyard stands today and where this wine comes from. This name is also a tribute to the poor lover of Casanova, an housekeeper from Venice, named Tunina. The grapes are harvested about two weeks late compared to the classic harvest time and they are then brought to the winery for the pressing. The musts ferment in steel tanks and oak barrels for a period of time that can change from year to year depending from the year conditions. Fermentation lasts for about 15 days and the wine stays in contact with fine lees for few months after the fermentation. The malolactic fermentation is not carried out to preserve the freshness.

Jermann Vintage Tunina
Yellow and so bright. Jermann Vintage Tunina recalls white fruit. It is asweet wine.
I took this Friuli-Venezia Giulia between meals.
We drank it at a meeting with friends.

Vintage Tunina 2013
It was a gift for me.
It had a bright yellow colour. Clear hints of jasmine. Taste of blackberries and wild fruits.

Brilliant straw yellow in color, with golden reflections. Intense, ample, very elegant and persistent, with scents of honey and country flowers. On the palate it is dry, mellow, well balanced, with extraordinary persistence thanks to the full body.
