Ca' Bolani Alturio Refosco 2015 (Refosco)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: intense red ruby edges bright purple.
- Nose: typical notes of small red fruits: blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, warm flavors of plum and cherry with light balsamic notes. In the end, living arrangements and spicy, licorice olfactory memories, vanilla, coffee and chocolate.
- Mouth: full, round, great structure, with an excellent balance between natural acidity of the Refosco and very smooth tannins, fruity notes and chords balsam with a retrono special in the end.
APPELLATION: Friuli Aquileia Refosco dal Rosso Peduncolo.
VINES: soil, medium texture, is crossed by strips pebbles also present on the surface. Allow hold and then release the vines natural elements needed to grow luxuriantly.
GRAPES: 100% Refosco.
AGEING: Aged for 24 months in Allier oak barrels, followed by another 5 or 6 months of further refinement in stainless steel barrels at the end of which the wine is bottled. Marketing is done 6 months after bottling.
PREPARATION: 15 days fermentation in vertical fermenters with a replacement system, the wine is kept in stainless steel tanks until the rear end of malolactic fermentation.
WINE PAIRING: game meats, succulent roasts and stews, excellent with seasoned cheese.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ° C
