La Valle Franciacorta Regium Brut 2012 (Chardonnay)

TASTING NOTES:

View: straw yellow. Perlage fine and persistent.
Nose: elegant and complex aroma, with floral notes, fruity notes of bread crust and toasted nuances.
Mouth: broad, rich, complex, end with a nice fresh mineral vein.

APPELLATION: Franciacorta.

VINEYARD: Altitude: 200 meters above sea level.

GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay.

AGEING: 6-8 months in stainless steel tanks from September to April. secondary fermentation: at least 48 months at controlled temperature lees. additional 6 months of aging in bottle.

PROCESSING: soft pressing of whole grapes after a subsequent classification of the clusters. Vinification in stainless with temperature control.

PAIRING: Appetizers, important dishes with rich and intense flavors.
