Berlucchi 61 Franciacorta Rose (Chardonnay and Pinot Nero)

TASTING NOTES OF Berlucchi 61 Franciacorta Rose:

The Berlucchi '61 Franciacorta Rosé is bottled in the spring after the harvest in bottles and then matured in contact with the lees for 24 months. After the lees, the bottles rest for at least two more months in the cellar.
With an intense pink, which may vary slightly after each harvest, the visually appealing sparkling wine runs into the glass. Franciacorta Rose is velvety and shows a fine and consistent bubbles. Balanced notes of tropical fruits and spices are supported by a delicate scent of yeast and bread crust. On the palate fresh and interesting, make notes of wild berries and ripe fruit for an elegant finish. Intended as an aperitif, Franciacorta Rose harmonizes perfectly well with pasta, seafood and cheese.
