4 /5

The reference to Chardonnay wines Paul Cluver with the top version of the super scarce Seven Flags. Cluver know how good chardonnay to be made. No dusty wine but a delicious cool-climate Chardonnay supported by subtle use of wood. Everything is balanced in this nice chardonnay. Nice fruit and good acidity. The nose is characterized by subtle use of timber. Further notes of citrus and some blossoms. On the palate fresh acidity and a slightly creamy finish. The reviews do not lie with standard 90+ points.

The Paul Cluver Chardonnay stands out for its golden yellow colour. Strong aromas of citrus.Flashy flavours of red fruits.
Good wine to drink between hours.
It was a birthday present for my friend.

I especially liked the colour. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. Oily, unctuous.
We had it with Sushi food.
I tried it on a wine tasting of wines.

Very nice with a fatty cheese. I tried it at a dinner with several friends and I really liked it.
Like many Chardonnay it had a light golden brown colour. The aromas of white flowers dominates the rest. Very light.
