Roquette & Cazes 2015

A really aromatic expression of Douro with fresh wild berries, plum and baking spices aromas and flavours Though it is certainly full-bodied, unlike some Douro wines it is incredibly fresh on the palate, with silky tannins that give a real sense of balance

17 pts Revista de Vinhos - Very dark core with bright violet/purple rim colour. Aroma of fresh wild fruits, and violets, with a soft toasty hint from the wood ageing, evoking cocoa. Full bodied, refreshing acidity, black fruits, and silky round tannins that complements the wine's structure. Very long and complex, with real elegance.

Roquette & Cazes
It was too well-bodied for our meal. We order it in a supper with working colleagues.
The Roquette & Cazes is a true cherry colour. It has a very nice smell of  white roses. Strong flavour like strawberry candy.

Roquete E Cazes 2011
Smells a lot of oak. Too acidic for my taste.
Roquete E Cazes 2011 is powerful, I like it.
