Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte Magnum 2007

Located on the right bank of the Douro River, between the towns of Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto is a property of 130 hectares, 70 of which are planted with vines. Nestled on a privileged location in the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta do Crasto has belonged to the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century and like all the great properties of the Douro it dates back to ancient times - the name "Crasto" is derived from the Latin word "castrum", which means "Roman fort". Quinta do Crasto produces a full range of products, from Douro white and red wines and Port wines to extra virgin olive oil. Together with our winemakers and our entire team, we are totally dedicated to producing wines that best represent the unique characteristics of the Douro region. We achieve this through a process that involves great devotion and commitment to excellence as well as learning and improvement.

A wine that can be purchased at the shopping mall.
Foxy colour. This Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte Magnum with its raspberry aromas might be considered as a delicacy. The truth is that I couldn't find any particular flavour, although I liked it.

Especially noticeable smoky aromas in this Quinta do Crasto. All Quinta do Crasto wines are quite balanced.
If you like wood-flavoured wines, this is perfect.

It would have been better with fish. I drank it with someone special.
It revealed a very light colour. Scent of violets and liquorice. A wine with body.

Better pair it with vegetables. I opened the bottle for my best friend.
This is very pleasing to the eye. Characteristic nuts notes. It reminded me of black plums.

Violet-red . Strong toasty notes. Just the right sweetness, I enjoyed it.
I had it with cod and potatoes.
The best  to enjoy with friends.
