Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte 2012

Tasting Notes: Nose: Excellent projection and aromatic complexity, composed of fresh wild berries from Douro, in perfect tune with soft Notes of rock rose. Very stylish and with great depth. Boca: Elegant beginning, evolving into a wine of great volume and very solid structure, firm tannins composed of excellent texture. The retronasal aroma is composed of a distinct complexity of aromas that stand out among the vibrant Notes of wild berries Douro, which give the wine a pleasant sensation of freshness. Ends in perfect balance and with great persistence. A distinctive wine of great elegance and power, which may evolve in the bottle for many years
Serving at: 16-18ºC.
We recommend with: Meats and cheeses

Vinha da Ponte is a plot of Quinta do Crasto´s vineyard with more than a hundred years of age.
The wine made from grapes coming from Vinha da Ponte is lively and deep in colour. It has rich and intense ripe fruit aromas overlapping with the elegant oak notes. Released only in the finest years.

Quinta Crasto Vinha da Ponte 2010
It seems like avery intense red ruby colour. It smells toasty. The taste reminded me coffee.
The Quinta Crasto Vinha da Ponte pairs well with meat.
It's a red I like to drink when I'm alone.

A red Bordeaux . Dominating scent of red currant. It has a smoky colour.
We drank it just like that, without any food pairing.
Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte is the first wine I drank with my parents.

Fine aromas of violets. I liked the Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte, although it tasted a bit rough.
Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte 2004, more than decent wine.
