On the nose, great complexity with white fruit and herbal notes, mineral, phosphorous and graphite undertones. Very rich on the palate, captivating with a good mouth feel and full of flavour. The wine has plenty of character with good acidity that is round & soft making the wine easy to drink. It can easily aged for a few years.

17 pts Revista de Vinhos - It has more equilibrium and texture than many previous La Rosa whites. With muted tropical banana on the nose together with citric undertones, the wine shows great minerality and has a long, creamy, rich, velvety finish. The lively acidity keeps the wine fresh and in keeping in style to other La Rosa white wines.

Quinta de la Rosa Reserve 2015
I had it with cod and potatoes. At a friend's wedding.
An elegant Douro but with a very deep dense colour. Clear hints of jasmine. Too watery in the mouth.

Quinta de la Rosa Reserve 2014
It's easier to find on sale on the Internet.
A 2014 vintage that shows a golden brown colour. In aromas , highlights lemon. It tasted a lot like wine.
