Quinta de Cottas Touriga Nacional 2011

- Elegant wine with a solid structure and soft tannins. Long finish with floral notes from Touriga Nacional. A wine with great gastronomic skills.
- The grapes are harvested manually, selected, de-stemmed and crushed at the entrance to the cellar. A pre-fermentative maceration at 32ºC, inoculation and fermentation below 24ºC is carried out until the sugars are completely depleted.
- 65-day post-fermentative maceration followed by malolactic fermentation in barrel

The colour was rather dark red. Smelling it, I noticed the aromas of blackberries. It wasn't too sweet, it liked me.
This Quinta de Cottas wine goes well with food.
I drank this 2011 with my co-workers.
I bought it on a visit to the winery, it's difficult to get.
Too strong for my taste.
