TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Deep ruby ​​red.
  • Nose: Intense aroma, floral notes, ripe red fruits, such as plum and strawberry notes of cedar, spice, delicate complexity arising from aging in discrete and well integrated oak.
  • Mouth: ripe red fruit, elegant body, well integrated acidity, fine quality tannins, balanced, harmonious and long finish.

APPELLATION: Douro.

VINES: Sogrape Vinhos

GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca.

AGEING: about 25% of the aged mixture for 12 months in French oak barrels used.

PREPARATION: grapes harvested by hand, vinified utilizandio the latest technology. After gentle despaillado and crushing grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks with pumping and macerating the skin at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. I drank it accompanied with a snack. A Douro is better to be discovered alone.
Red wine with reddish brown edges. The 2015 smells like violets. It was light but tasted like blackberries.
