Description of Dow's LBV 2013
Dow's LBV 2013 (Sousao, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: It has a deep red color with violet hues.
- Nose: fruity aromas of concentrated blackberry fruit and fragrant roses and violets, with a hint of perceived jara.
- Mouth: The palate is soft, pleasant tannins with hints of hot and spicy, rich plum fruit and a hint of licorice.
APPELLATION: Douro DOC.
GRAPES: Tinta Francisca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca.
PREPARATION: The grapes showed perfect graduations between 13 and 14 ° Baumé, and this contributed to complete and structured wines. I benefited from some timely rain in late September, followed by an ideal climate. This wine goes through an aging 2 years in old oak barrels.
WINE PAIRING: This wine is perfect to accompany cheeses and red meats.
ALCOHOL: 20%
