TASTING NOTES OF Titular Reserva 2013:

  • View: intense ruby.
  • Nose: a complex aroma. notes of red and black fruit in comibanción with the typical tone of Touriga Nacional.
  • Mouth: a good balance between acidity and tannins, notes of oak, elegant and persistent.

APPELLATION: Dao.

VINES: Titular

GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz.

AGEING: 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used)

PREPARATION: destemmed grapes, alcoholic, complete maceration and controlled for the best expression of typicality grapes fermentation temperature.

PAIRING: ducks and red meat.

TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%

On the palate combines a soft and elegant attack on a harmonious evolution arises where the acidity and tannins in good balance, with the notes of the wood in which it aged well integrated and support the whole set in a final of great elegance and persistence.
