Quinta de Lemos is well hidden in the beautiful valley of the Dao, the oldest wine producing region in Portugal. Located near Viseu, the Quinta is set on the plateau of Beira Alta at an altitude of 340 m. In this green haven in the centre of Portugal, the Quinta consists of 25 ha of vineyards. The granite and sandy soils of the Dao valley are well protected by four big mountains, shielded from the harsh extremes of a continental climate and the humid Atlantic influences. By nature quite perfect, because made with the highest developed wine producing techniques, and coming from one of the most prestigious wine demarcated regions in our country, this wine has everything to be one of the best.
