Quinta da Falorca Touriga Nacional 2012 (Touriga Nacional)
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: Fresh, with intense nose, ripe red fruit, floral, smoky notes and cedar.
- Mouth: firm and elegant tannins, well integrated. Lots of acidity, polished. Persistent and fresh finish.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Dao
VINEYARD: Quinta Farloca
GRAPES: Touriga Nacional
AGING: 18 months in new French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: The grapes were selected and manually harvested in the Falorca vineyards and in the 40-year-old Vale das Escadinhas. They were hand-picked in 18-kg boxes, taken to the cellar, and spent a full night to lower the temperature.
RECOMMENDED SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 16ºC
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
