The Maison Louis de Grenelle produces its sparkling wines in the heart of the Loire Valley, more precisely within the Saumur appellation. Obtained from local grapes according to a traditional vinification process, the wines of the maison age in cellars dug out of tuff stone, where they take on their special character. This family-run winery - the last one of Saumur - has been awarded numerous medals over the years, thanks also to the incredible and constant effort in combining tradition and modernity.
The Cuvée Platine is a very refined and intense Crémant de Loire, characterised by a fruity bouquet with notes of pear and citrus fruits. The taste is characterised by the roundness of the quince, the vivacity of the acacia and the sweetness of the strawberry.
This cuvée made from Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Chenin is perfect to accompany smoked fish, shellfish and refined French pièces montées.
