- View: intense purple color.
- Nose: Powerful aromas of fruits such as cherries and red combined plums with spices.
- Mouth: Very balanced on the palate, with flavors of ripe fruit, soft tannins and a long finish.
APPELLATION: Côtes de Gascogne (IGT).
VINEYARD: Villa Dria. The vineyards of this winery are located in the heart of Gascony, in southwestern France. It was founded in the 90s by Jean Pierre Drieux. Its land is approximately 60 hectares in which it has been applying the principle of Geobiology, a relatively new science that helps you bring the land and preserve biodiversity. The vineyard is totally organic, even has photovoltaic roofs to convert solar energy into electricity.
GRAPES: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
AGEING: The ripening process is made on its lees.
PREPARATION: The harvest takes place at dawn to take advantage of cooler temperatures. Once the fruit is transported to the winery, the first fermentation in stainless steel tanks is carried out for 5 weeks. Then subjected to a pressing process to end tire malolactic fermentation.
WINE PAIRING: Red meat, white and different varieties of meat hunting.
