Duffour Père et Fils Côtes de Gascogne 2018 (Colombard, Gros Manseng and Ugni Blanc)
- View: bright pale yellow with green highlights.
- Nose: very aromatic, citrus notes.
- Mouth: crisp, bright fruit flavors, good weight and a clean and lasting aromatic finish.
APPELLATION: Côtes de Gascogne.VINEYARD: limestone floor, south-facing slopes.GRAPES: 80% Colombard, Ugni Blanc 10% and 10% Gros Manseng.PREPARATION: upon arrival to the winery, grapes cold soaked for 15 hours and left on the lees for seven days at 10 °C. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks to 16-20 °C for 10-20 days, depending on the grape variety. Wine kept separate until mixing in January following the harvest. First bottled in the third week of February, with the second following a month later.
PAIRING: white meat, fish and seafood.
