Elaboration of Taleia 2017
Taleia 2017 (Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: light straw yellow.
- Nose: aromas of peach dry and green almonds.
- Mouth: fine and silky, elegant and subtle bitter feelings. Final long and salt.
APPELLATION: Costers del Segre.
VINEYARD: Vineyards planted in 2003, located at an altitude between 850 and 1000 meters. calcareous loam soils, low in organic matter.
GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon.
AGEING: 9 months in contact with its lees.
PREPARATION: Manual harvest in small boxes of 10 kg with grapes exclusively from the estate. A portion of fermented stone wine presses and other wine in new French oak barrels. The rest of the vinoelaborado in small stainless steel vats of 25 hectoliters and stone vats XII century.
PAIRING: cold cuts and sausages, with not too opulent foods.
TEMPERATURE: 9-12ºC
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
