APPELLATION: Costers del Segre
VINEYARD: Clos Pons is in the region of Les Garrigues, south of the province of Lleida, in the towns of L'Albagés and La Pobla de Cérvoles. The land and climate are the symbols of identity of this vineyard. Rough terrain with extreme weather conferring very distinctive identity features in wines.
GRAPES: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah.
AGEING: The Alges is aged for 9 months in new oak barrels of first and second year, 80% French, 20% American.
PREPARATION: The preparation of this wine is marked by respect for the natural product. organic farming criteria and performance targets seeking the highest quality are used. Its grapes come from vineyards situated at 500 meters. The harvest is done manually in boxes of 15 kg.
WINE PAIRING: Roasted red meats, grilled red meat, rice with meat, small game, roasts.
