You will like to know that…
Some international prizes and 95 Points from Robert Parker give this wine a broad international recognition. In fact, according to Robert Parker "the 2008 is more toward the older style of Vin de Constance. It already offers a very complex bouquet with fresh pineapple, quince, Japanese yuzu, just a hint of grass clippings..." and he adds that it's "Wonderful". With such a references, it is better not to miss it.

Description of Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 50cl 2008
Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 50cl 2008 (Muscat de Frontignan)
- View: Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 50cl 2008 has a rich, dark golden honey colour.
- Nose: Intense complex perfumed nose of spices, cloves and vanilla.
- Mouth: Flavors developed side orange marmalade and black chocolate. An interesting and evolving wine. The bold, sweet palate is perfectly balanced by the acidity adjusted resulting in a long lingering sweet finish.
CELLAR: Klein Constantia Estate

Reviews of Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 50cl 2008
- The wine was aged in a combination of 60 % new French oak, Hungarian oak and French Acacia. It was left for a period of 3 years in barrel on the gross lees before racking out and blending. It spent a further 6 months in tank before bottling.
The colour of this 2015 seems darker than other vintages. It has citrus aromas. Very light flavour.
It would have been better with meat.
I'll try again at the upcoming wine tasting.
