Bordeaux style developed Cuvee of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and several months of maturation in new French oak barrels give wonderful aromas of ripe cherry, currant, tobacco and chocolate and the perfect harmony between power and finesse. The velvety fruit density and tannin feinwuerzige let Christine become one of the most coveted red wines South African. The enjoyment is perfect for a good cigar. I shared an afterwork glass with some colleagues.
Buitenverwachting wears a ruby red robe with a brown tinge. Nuances of blackberries. Ripe red fruit on the palate.
Perfect with lamb stew.

I bought it on a visit at the winery, it's difficult to get.
It has a dense colour. Smells like chocolate. This 2010 is quite like the previous vintage.
