2017 - Non contractual picture. floral and honeyed notes, white fruit notes and exotic fruits and of course mineral notes from the steep hillsides of the appellation. Serve with sole fillets, Saint-Jacques scallops, marinated raw salmon, goat cheese. M. Chapoutier Domaine: For two hundred years in the Rhone Valley, and now also in the Roussillon and Australia Chapoutier produces the best wines: Hermitage, Cote Rotie, Chateauneuf du Pape, St. Joseph, Crozes Hermitage, Luberon. Our vineyards and our parcel selections are grown either organic or biodynamic by respect for the land. Humility and will: The words that best characterize the Maison M. Chapoutier. A house that cultivates its vineyards in the highest respect of the natural balance and terroir since 1808. A coat of arms, "and spera Fac" (Make and hope) become family motto. Two verbs to say all the patience, all the audacity to have in this business. Patience vis-a-vis nature presiding. Daring the winemaker who observes, selects and supports.
The wine is the expression of this alchemy.

Deep gold, golden yellow with a greenish tint. Very fruity on the nose with exotic fruit (pineapple, lychee), acacia blossom and a hint of smoke brought by the oak. The palate is very well balanced, full, with a nice fresness which gives a great elegance to this wine.

I bought it through the net.
This 2016 has a very clear golden colour. I was explained that this wine smells like acacia flower. I got the impression that it was a well bodied wine.

Wine and friends always pairs very well .
Its intense colour attracted me. The Condrieu Invitare M. Chapoutier reminded me of jasmine on the nose. It has a hint of bitterness at the end.
We tried it with Milanese rice.
