“The Eastern Hills Friuli Ribolla of Livio born in vineyards at Rosazzo in Friuli Venezia Giulia.È produced exclusively Ribolla grapes, harvested by hand during the first and second decade of September. After a gentle de-stemming, the grapes are left to macerate briefly, then gently pressed so. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged for six months on the lees, in the same containers, and for another 2 months in bottle before being released in commercio.Questa Ribolla has a straw yellow color with greenish hues. The bouquet is fresh and very intense, with hints of peach, plum, orange and lily of the valley, accompanied by fruity notes of pear and green apple. The palate is fresh, lively, fluid and pleasant acidity, with an aftertaste from the balmy shade enriched with flavors of pear and apple renetta.Ottimo as an aperitif, this wine is ideal in combination with battered vegetables, baked vegetables and savory cheeses. Also perfect with dishes based on fish.”
