Description of Lunae Auxo Colli di Luni 2017
Lunae Auxo Colli di Luni 2017 (Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo)
- View: intense ruby red.
- Nose: ripe fruit aromas of red, blue and blackberries, plums and red berries, seductive and lively, spicy notes, hints of black pepper and licorice, subtle in the background.
- Mouth: silky and smooth, discreet rest on the palate and a nice tannin structure.
VINEYARD: Vineyards pebble-rich skeletons.
GRAPES: Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile).
AGEING: After fermentation, aged for 6 months in large oak barrels old, with additional complexity and aging potential and finesse and expressiveness.
PREPARATION: once harvested fully ripe grapes in September, carefully fermented in stainless steel with a steeping time of about 10 days.
WINE PAIRING: Italian, lasagna, pasta with ragout, cannelloni in tomato sauce.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 15-18 ° C

I do not recommend pairing this red of Cantine Lunae with meat.
