Campogrande Cinque Terre 2016

Grapes: Bosco - Albarola

Contents: 0, 75 l
The history of the Cinque Terre wine dates from the age of the Roman Empire.
The area is dominated by the vertical vineyards overlooking the sea.
Men and women of many generations have built and maintained
the centuries a unique landscape.
UNESCO since 1997 has added to the World Heritage Site.
On small pieces of stony ground clinging to the hill
He was born a great wine which were enchanted princes and poets.
Up to this day viticulture in this extraordinary
land is worked exclusively by hand and the wine growers
go on foot in the cellar carrying on their shoulders the baskets with grapes.
This archaic and hard work has prompted new
generations to abandon many of the vineyards.
A few years ago it was discovered the enormous potential
of this territory. Even Elio Altare, known winemaker in Piedmont,
and Antonio Bonanni, who grew up in the vineyards of the Cinque Terre,
help to give new life to this area.
With the "Cinqueterre Campogrande" offer an exceptional wine
and rare for connoisseurs

It was a special meal and served with sea food. The best  to enjoy with friends.
That white is almost golden yellow. Flavours of citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Light wine, more than expected.

Campogrande Cinque Terre Cinqueterre 2011
I was impressed by the almost amber yellow Campogrande Cinque Terre Cinqueterre. Smells really good, like banana and lychees. An unpretentious, cool, nice, rich white.
This wine was good for the dinner.
We order it in a supper with working colleagues.

The perfect accompaniment for baked fish. It is my parents favorite wine.
Golden yellow. The Campogrande Cinque Terre reminded me of jasmine on the nose. The toasted flavours liked me.
