Elaboration of 12 X Stella Artois Apple Cidre 50cl
12 X Stella Artois Apple Cidre 50cl
- Appearance: This cider has a perfect yellow apple juice-like colour. Small bubbles, due to the carbon dioxide produced during fermentation (not artificial carbonation), rise to the top of each bottle as well.
- Aroma: This drink smells similar to apple juice, with an alcoholic kick. The dryness of the drink is also made apparent simply through the smell.
- Body/ Flavour: This beverage is both sweet and dry at the same time. The primary flavour is of apples. A bubbliness adds lightness to the drink. In the end, it has a sweet medium finish. This beverage tastes best when it is served chilled, in the bottle or in a glass.
BREWERY: Stella Artois has a long and interesting history. A distillery, known as the Den Hoom, was built in 1366. Almost 400 years later, the distillery was bought by Sebastian Artius in the 1710s. He is famous for making both the Stella Artois beer recipe and spreading the name of the brewery. However, it was not until another 300 years later, in 2011, that the brand began producing hard apple cider.
FERMENTATION TYPE: Yeast which is naturally collected on the apples in the orchard (wild yeast) and additional yeast put in during the fermentation process are both used in this drink.
BEER TYPE: Cider
The taste and aroma of the first Stella Artois were marked by the town's brewery, Den Hoorn, founded in Leuven in 1366. This company set the standards, for which the beer is known and loved for today. As a thank you and hommage, Stella Artois proudly displays Den Hoorn's symbol in the cartouche.More about the Brand
