Lambert Chinon Rouge Cuvée Les Terrasses 2017 (Cabernet Franc)
- View: Ruby red with some reflections in the range of purple.
- Nose: Intense, but not intolerable. Ripe red fruit take center stage, above the touch of wood or flowers.
- Mouth: really soft, but does not mean that imperceptible. It is vibrant, balanced and fresh. The finish is long.
VINEYARD: Domaine Beatrice et Pascal Lambert.
GRAPES: Cabernet Franc.
AGEING: 6-12 months in cement tanks.
PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand in baskets, before taking them to the sorting tables. Hence, the chosen will be de-stemmed and macerated for a few days. Passes steel tanks, which have a fermentation process first controlled temperature and then aged in concrete tanks for months or a year. It is clarified, filtered and bottled.
WINE PAIRING: Meat, some pastas, Japanese dishes, sausages.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
