Marchesi de Frescobaldi Castello Nipozzano Chianti Rufina Riserva Magnum 2016 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Colorino, Merlot, Malvasia Nera and Sangiovese)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: intense and brilliant ruby red color.
- Nose: floral and fruity notes blend perfectly with spicy. Violet stands out among all, and is balanced with hints of small red fruits. A persistent toasted balsamic and elegant complete the sense of smell.
- Mouth: Silky and tannic with a fine texture. The acid component is perfectly balanced with the alcohol component. The finish is long and persistent.
APPELLATION: Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG.
VINEYARD: Frescobaldi.
GRAPES: Castello Nipozzano.
AGEING: 14 months in wooden casks and a few months in the bottle.
PREPARATION: grapes as soon as they were harvested, were immediately transferred to the cellar. A despalillado time, the process of spontaneous fermentation took place in concrete tanks. At the end of this, the wine remained in tubs to complete maceration.
WINE PAIRING: Serve with prepared meats on the grill, marinated rice and pasta with meat sauces.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14-16 ° C
