I took it with an octopus and liked it. I found it at a wine tasting.
The border colour was almost brown. Aromas of licorice and violet. It felt like the typical astringency from Marchesi de Frescobaldi.

Intense ruby red shade. On the nose, red fruit and green pepper.Toasted notes were evident.
Best paired with other food than the one we ordered.
At a dinner with other couples.
