Frescobaldi Montesodi Chianti Rufina 2005 (Sangiovese)

The nose shows rich, concentrated fruit, with abundant blackcurrant and blueberry preceding clean-edged impressions of plum preserves, while black pepper and cinnamon nuances mark a very lengthy finale.

Red towards reddish brown hints. Aromas of dried fruits.Astringent.
Better pair it with vegetables.
I drank it together with my sister.

We tested this Marchesi de Frescobaldi with my club mates.
Cherry colour with brown edges. When you smell it you can note aromas such as licorice, violet, .... It was light but tasted like blackberries.
The combination of this Frescobaldi Montesodi Chianti Rufina and meat did not seem appropriate, best pair it with fish.
