Piero Antinori, whose family has been linked to Tuscany's wine-growing region for 26 generations, offers with this cuvée an elegant and harmonious riserva.
Mainly made with sangiovese berries from the Pèppoli, Badia a Passignano and Tignanello estates, this Chianti Classico reveals great finesse and elegance.
The bouquet has beautiful notes of wild berries, cherry, leather, tobacco and spices. It is perfect to accompany red meat dishes and cheese.

Antinori Marchese Chianti Classico Riserva 2016 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese)
TASTING :
- Appearance : Intense ruby red.
- Nose : Aromas of ripe red fruits with hints of spices and vanilla.
- Palate: Complex and attractive palate. Salty and fruity notes. Silky body. Long finish. The key word is balance.
APPELLATION : Chianti.
WINEYARD : Marchese Antinori. Vineyard in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
VARIETIES: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
BREEDING: One year in French and Hungarian oak barrels. An additional year of bottle ageing.
VINIFICATION: Fermentation for one week in stainless steel vats.
PAIRING : Pasta with meat sauce, roasted meats, strong cheeses.
