Producers since 1385, Antinori offers with this 2015 vintage of Tenuta Tignanello "Marchese Antinori' Chianti Classico Riserva a modern and high quality Tuscan wine, whose originality lies in the combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grape varieties. From the Pèppoli, Badia a Passignano and Tignanello estates, from vines with south-western calcareous soils, it is aged between 12 and 14 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels. Awarded by many international critics, the total success of this assembly has made it widespread worldwide, in Australia, California, Texas and Arizona.

With an intense ruby colour, the nose reveals fruity aromas of blackcurrant, toasted oak and black cherry. In the mouth, the typicality of the grape varieties explodes: powerful and rich while remaining refined and elegant, it is dense with vanilla and chocolate notes, as well as a touch of mint, tobacco and an aftertaste of earth. The ageing in oak barrels brings a beautiful subtlety to the tannins. Perfectly structured and harmonious, spicy flavours give all its power to the tasting, which ends with a mineral finish with a beautiful persistence.

The fruit of twenty-six generations of manufacturing methods that have developed over the centuries a unique know-how, this wine will sublimate the culinary art of the best chefs. Ideal for special occasions, it will be good to decant it one hour before serving, or simply to let it age for a few years in the cellar, because its structure and its own qualities ensure a good longevity. To be enjoyed with lasagna, roast pork and white beans or with grilled meats.
