Le uve di sangiovese, merlot e cabernet sauvignon macerano per 12-16 giorni, fermentando in acciaio alla temperatura controllata di 24-27 °C, per poi affinare per circa 9 mesi in legno. Il “Brolio” targato Barone Ricasoli esprime i caratteri più tradizionali della denominazione. Si presenta con un colore rosso rubino molto brillante e intenso.
