“TASTING NOTES:View: intense ruby red.Nose: broad and intense aroma characterized by fruity and woody notes, enriched with soothing aromas and graphite.Mouth: rich, sweet and soft tannins, persistent and pleasantly fruity finish.APPELLATION: Chianti Classico Gran Selezione.VINEYARD: Vineyards located in the heart of Chianti Classico.GRAPES: Sangiovese 100%.AGEING: after malolactic fermentation, wine aged in oak barrels and bottled Hungarian more before being put on the market.PREPARATION: harvested and handpicked between late September and the first week of October cuidadosamnete grapes. “The Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Great Selection is a red DOCG in Tuscany. From blend Sangiovese, it is the fruit of the best production in the year of reference. The grapes come exclusively employed by the organization of the historical Antinori winery, dedicated to wine production from the fourteenth century. The vineyards grow on calcareous substrates typical of the Chianti and develop a cord at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters. Selecting the best clonal varieties native from nearby Tenuta Tignanello, the screws have developed unique characteristics of the terroir. ancient grape variety, Sangiovese has a deep connection with the Tuscan soil. The clusters, intense black-purple coloration, are harvested by hand and separated by vineyards. The Badia a Passignano Great Selection aged in Hungarian oak barrels for twelve months at least, in the old cellars where expresses the aging potential. After assembly by careful selection, the wine continues the maturation in the bottle.”
