TASTING NOTES OF Taittinger Brut Réserve Salmanazar:
- View: Straw yellow, green tones, forming a good crown and fine bubble.
- Nose: great aromatic complexity: white fruits and bone quality (peach, apple), notes of acacia, lemon mousse, light roasted nuts and fine pastries.
- Mouth: grand entrance in mouth, large and refreshing at the same time, a long, elegant finish, pleasant notes of orange peel.
GRAPES: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
AGEING: 3 years minimum in bottle.
TEMPERATURE: 10 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12%
Founded in 1734 by Jacques Fourneux, a French wine merchant, Champagne Taittinger is still owned by the Taittinger family since 1932 and is considered being one of the oldest champagne cellars. Established in the historic mansion of the Counts of Champagne it has magnificent underground cellars built in the 4th century by the Benedictine monks from the Abbey of Saint Nicaise.More about the Winery
