Description of Pommery Apanage Blanc de Blancs
Pommery Apanage Blanc de Blancs (Chardonnay)
- View: pale golden color with green highlights soft. Exceptional brilliance and persistent and very delicate bubbles.
- Nose: With a remarkable elegance, the first scents reveal a fresh spring. Subtle floral notes of jasmine and acacia harmonize with the delicate notes of linden. After this first impression of an incredible freshness, a great complexity in which the fruity notes of citrus and creamy texture frangipane (almond pastry and cream) are expressed appears alternately.
- Mouth: The attack is frank, direct. Elegance and freshness found in the nose are also in the mouth. The aromas of citrus and white fruit (fresh apple) ensue, revealing a subtle flavor of yellow grapefruit. The end result is a perfect balance.
APPELLATION: Apanage Blanc de Blancs.
AGEING: refined in yeast for more than 42 months.
WINE PAIRING: Also as an aperitif, goes well with many fish preparations. I tartare of sea bass with citrus and ginger, grilled sole.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8 ° C
