“TASTING NOTES OF Pol Roger Brut - Magnum 1993:
- View: dark lemon, persistent crown.
- Nose: evolved nose, beautiful floral notes.
- Mouth: tasty, dry on the palate
GRAPES: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
TEMPERATURE: 8-10 °C”
“We drank the whole bottle at once with friends and a good conversation.
Fantastic colour. Good yeast aromas enhance a wine's bouquet. It tastes a lot like toasts, very nice.
It wasn't well paired with food, but the wine was good and tasty.”
“- Tasting notes: The Pol Roger Brut Reserve has a beautiful straw-yellow and abundant fine effervescence. His nose, powerful and attractive, initially reveals aromas of fruit (pear, mango ...) and then displays sensory light and white jasmine honeysuckle, then continues with notes of brioche and vanilla.
Behind a frank and dynamic attack, the wine offers a nice harmony and a pleasant freshness, while presenting a certain structure. On the palate, the flavors of cooked fruit (quince, apricot jam) are happily associated with the fragrance of beeswax and acacia honey. Made of fruity notes (candied orange peel, tangerine ...) and spicy (cardamom, anise), the aromatic persistence is remarkable.
- ALCOHOLIC: 12
- PAIRING: With its structure and its wine, its elegance and freshness, Pol Roger Brut Reserve offers an optimal balance between power and finesse, making it an excellent snack or a privileged companion for a meal of champagne.”
