Pol Roger Brut Réserve 2011 (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir)
TASTING NOTES OF Pol Roger Brut Réserve 2011:
- View: straw, gold, fine bubbles and abundant reflections.
- Nose: a greedy nose, notes of tropical fruit, peach, soft citrus notes and some memory of nuts (almonds).
- Mouth: tasty, tangy, with good texture, good acidity, marked fruitiness, balance and complexity, an ideal balance between bulk and finesse, great structure and vinous character.
APPELLATION: Champagne.
VINEYARD:
GRAPES: 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunier, 33% Chardonnay.
PREPARATION: I made from 30 crus wines, strains and different vintages, their flavors are revealed thanks to the technique of cold settling. After the second fermentation occurs in the bottle the product will keep for at least three years in contact with the lees in the bottle as well. After desgüelle expedition liqueur BRUT determines the nature of the product and retained for at least three months prior to release is added.
