Elaboration of Pol Roger Brut Réserve
Pol Roger Brut Réserve (Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir)
- View: Golden straw colour.
- Nose: Aromas of pear and mango accompanied by light notes of honeysuckle, white jasmine, vanilla and aromas of brioche.
- Mouth: Flavours of baked fruit like quince and apricot jam. Fruity and spicy end notes.
AGEING: The wine matures in underground warehouses located 33 metres below ground level where they age for at least three months.
WINEMAKING: Once the grapes are harvested, the grapes are pressed immediately. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel at a low temperature (18 ° C). The second fermentation and ripening take place in a controlled, cool environment.
