Mumm Grand Cordon is a work of art, from the bottle to the drink it contains. The bottle was designed by English designer Ross Legrove, who wanted to represent all the symbolism of champagne and French luxury while giving it a new look.
The Mumm Grand Cordon bottle stands out for its purity. The thinner, narrower and longer neck allows the development of aromas and increased shelf life. The bottle of Mumm Grand Cordon is a prodigy of the technique, totally new to the world of champagne: it is composed of a red glass ribbon embedded in the thickness of the bottle. In this way, the hand raises the bottle in a different way, grabbing it by the relief. The label, on the other hand, has disappeared. All that remains is the name of the house and its emblem, an eagle, in light gold.
La cuvée Mumm Grand Cordon pays tribute to the famous cuvée Cordon Rouge, which celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2016.
It is, in essence, a champagne designed and created for lovers of great sparkling wines.
