Maison MUMM can trace its roots back to the 12th century. In 1827, seeing the potential of the wines produced in the French Champagne region, the family opened a new branch of their winemaking business. With 218 hectares of vineyards in the Champagne region at its disposal and nearly two centuries of knowledge under its belt, Maison MUMM is a powerful name in the world of fine champagnes.
At the heart of the brand's impressive portfolio lies MUMM Cordon Rouge. This champagne is named after the red ribbon from the French Legion d'Honneur, which has decorated each bottle of this classic blend since 1876. With the complexity achieved from an expert blend of more than 100 different crus and 20 months spent ageing in the winery's cellars, the result is an intense, fresh, and bold but champagne.
With a personality that shines with the flavour of Pinot Noir backed up by Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, this champagne is fruity, vibrant, and ready for whatever occasion might appear. Thanks to the MUMM Cordon Rouge Jeroboam, you can get 3 litres of this perfectly balanced champagne in one beautiful bottle. Perfect for larger gatherings, get ready to celebrate with this limited Jeroboam release of one of the world's favourite champagnes.
Description of Mumm Cordon Rouge Jeroboam
Mumm Cordon Rouge Jeroboam (Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir)
- View: Mumm Cordon Rouge Jeroboam has abundant bubbles but thin, elegant and finesse and demonstrate the dynamics of this champagne. A fresh coat, golden yellow with hints of jade.
- Nose: The aromas of grapefruit, lemon and wealth associated with fleshy fruits like white peach, apricot and acidulous apple gives the wine its freshness and vivacity. Also play nuts, in harmony with hints of honey.
- Palate: Rich in foam on the palate, but never imposed. The perfect balance is associated with a wide round vinosity. The complexity of the aromas of fresh fruit and caramel gives greater intensity to the final result. It is a delicate balance whose length is exceptional finish.
VINEYARD: G.H. Mumm
GRAPES: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir.
