TASTING NOTES:
- View: Roederer Cristal Brut Methuselah 2002 is bright yellow with hints of amber. Beautiful jet foam with a persistent and regular bubbles.
-Nose: intense and delicate, revealing a clean and well-integrated mixture of flavors of honey, cocoa, lightly toasted hazelnuts, candied citrus - without exuberance, but luxurious simplicity.
- Mouth: A savory explosion of ripe fruit on the attack, leaving red fruits, white chocolate, caramel and Danish pastry, typical of Cristal.
PAIRING: Scallops with citrus caviar. Of smoked salmon. Chardonnay lobster and rhubarb. Spider crab and fennel. Oysters with champagne sabayon. chipolatas oyster tartare with chives. Raw fish marinated.
WINEMAKING: No malolactic fermentation. Cristal is produced using the harvests of the best vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. The wines undergo an average of 5 years of maturation in the winery and rest 8 months after disgorgement to perfect maturity.

It had a deep colour at first sight. On the nose, yeast and bakery. The truth is that I couldn't find any particular flavour.
Good wine, but I would not have taken it with fish.
One of the more powerful wines of Champagne.

Typical opacity of a Louis Roederer. Reminds me of other sparkling wines, aromas of yeast. A little too acid although it depends on the taste of each person.
I had it with cod and potatoes.
Roederer Cristal Brut Methuselah is the first wine I drank with my parents.
